He is a strong little dude

My baby boy has endured far more than any week old baby bot should. his surgery was postponed until this morning and he did fantastic and is in recovery. if all goes well he should get to come home next week some time. john and i have spent quite some time in the NICU and they even let us hold him, these will be some of my favorite memories of his first week. i dont like all the wires and lines but they really do help him. he is going to be ok and thank you so much for all of your love, support, and blessings. i will keep everyone updated and post more pics as i spend many hours down at the NICU with him this next week.

He is here

My last doctor visit before my c-section. 15 hours and counting

Thats my big boy in there

Roni did my hair before i went in so i would feel pretty

Excited cause the moment is only minutes away

Daddy showing off in his scrubs

My beautiful baby boy. He was 9 lbs 1 oz and 20 1/2 inches long ( i told you he was a big baby) he came at 7:58 on april 30th (happy birthday daddy i got you a grandson)

He has the softest skin and he looks just like his big sister and he has a set of lungs that i will probably not appreciate at 3:00 in the morning.

he was taken off to the NICU about 20 minutes after he was born where they thought that he had swallowed fluid and diagnosed him with double pneumonia. later one of his nurses decided to check the rest of him out and did a cardiogram and discovered the real big problem. one of his arteries was bottlenecked and would not function properly so they are going to go in later this evening and he will undergo heart surgery. he is big and strong and everyone says he will be fine but please keep him in your prayers. if everything goes well he will probably get to come home sometime next week and we are really excited for that. thank you for all the love and support and i will keep everyone updated as best as i can.
