Visit to California Before the Big Move
John and i went to California to say our goodbyes before the big journey to Arkansas and we celebrated kaydences 1st b-day a little early and my parents 28th wedding anniversary, and we took a family portrait. thank you to my family for always spoiling us and taking care of us when we need it. While we were there we also got to celebrate Aunt lori and uncle billies retirement and we got to see the entire family. it was a good way to go out seeing everybody.

We Did it!!!
we are officially in Arkansas and it is so pretty here. of course with greatness comes grossness, the bugs are the size of golf balls and seeing john get attacked by one is pretty freakin hilarious. the humidity is not that bad only when you are loading and unloading a trailer. i have never seen so many trees in my life and they are beautiful. the trees are filled with Katydids and they make a very loud noise that is almost but not quite relaxing. The Katydids are really big grasshoppers, i now know why all the houses have covered screen porches. i could definatley enjoy the outside if i knew that there were no bugs crawling all over me. John started work today and has already called to tell me he loves it and he is so happy and less stressed. i am excited to see what a forty hour work week looks like cause he was working about 70 a week before for the same money. we will be home hunting in the weeks to come so i will keep you all updated on everything. I will also post pictures as soon as i unpack my camera cord.

To eat or Not to Eat!!!!
Kaydence usually loves her vegetables and she eats an assortment. but lately i get this reaction from her. it is pretty cute when you think that your 9month old really can understand you. she is almost 11 months now and time has gone by so fast. i miss my newborn but am thrilled to interact with her the way that we do.
kaydence misses dani and niki.
I was checking my emails and kaydence saw some pics of the girls and started to go nuts. this is what i caught on tape. she loves you too meme but i dont have any pictures of you so maybe we could get some in the future.

Happy 4th of July!!!!
We spent the morning with everybody and grammers took ben and kaydence on wagon rides all over. then we went over to the park for the hot dog festival and we visited with lots of old and new friends. after that we came home to rest for a little bit and i had to apply aloe vera on myself and kaydence cause as hard as i tried to stay out of the sun, it still found us. Then at about 7:30 we went to the church where we saw lots of family and at 9 we watched the fireworks. kaydence loved it and said lots of oohs and aaahs. overall it was a good day and we are so greatful for the men and women who are serving in our country so that it can be great.
